Tree stump grinding is the use of powerful machines with rotating discs at the front of the machine with tungsten carbide teeth which rotates at high speed and moves in a sideways action grinding the stumps away inch by inch below ground level until eventually the stump and root plate turning it into mulch which can be either disposed of or even used to refill the hole, stump grinding is also the most cost effective way to remove stumps as digging with machines or winching the stump up can be labour intensive and creates a large amount of ground disturbance as it rips the entire root system out it also leaves you with a large stump with roots to dispose of, efficient and safe stump grinding should always be carried out by a skilled person as stump grinders are extremely hazardous to inexperienced or untrained operators without proper safety equipment.

We have a variety of machines each suited to particular jobs larger stumps require a more powerful machine which can access narrow and tight spaces as small as 26" inches, however this is not always possible due to access restrictions, we also have smaller access machines which are still capable of tackling the largest of stumps they just take a little longer to grind.
